In-Home vs. Studio: Newborn Portraits

SHOULD I CHOOSE A STUDIO OR IN-HOME NEWBORN SESSION?

Both options have noteworthy benefits, so I've provided a few thought points below to help you determine the best fit for your family! Please note that Family Portraits are a complimentary addition to every newborn's session and entirely optional.

Studio

TIME: 1.5 Hours

This option allows parents to arrive, relax while I photograph their little one(s), snap some family portraits, and head home without the fuss of having to clean up or rearrange furniture. Coffee and light snacks available. Lighting is bright, consistent, and there's ample room for posing. Complete access to my fabrics and props.

In-Home

TIME: 3 Hours

In-home sessions incorporate personal touches: featuring the nursery, family pets and home in your portraits. This option frees siblings to play in other rooms during the session, without worry of them disturbing the baby. Extra time allotted for equipment and lighting setup. Limited fabric/prop options.
